Jorge was born and raised in Turrialba, where rafting started and developed in Costa Rica. Surrounded by mountains and rivers, he learned with his friends and brothers the nature laws of the rivers and it`s surroundings.

He started as driver from one of the first rafting companies and as a common rafter in boats that need extra paddlers; Jorge became not only a senior river guide, but also a great cooker, host and operation manager of an important company.

In 2006 he went to California and was lucky enough to work with Norm and his family in White Water Excitement Inc, they became good friends and started a new journey of adventure and excitement in Costa Rica.
