HORSEBACK RIDING TOUR - BAJO DEL TIGRE

After crossing the Pacuare River cable through a rustic gondola, you will start the tour with a safety speech that will be provide by your local guide, he will also help you get familiar with the horses.

Bajo del Tigre is the closest community of the Pacuare River accommodations, and on the journey to the little town you will have the chance to see different types of birds, sloths and flora like orchids, bromeliads, and heliconias, among others.

In a clear day you will be lucky enough to see part of the Talamanca Mountains, the active Turrialba Volcano, and once you arrive to Bajo del Tigre you`ll experience the local agronomy mostly of “culantro coyote”, a type of herb used for cooking and medical healings that they export.

Some families had developed projects such as the serpentariumm orchid gardens, butterfly garden, and tilapia production.

After 4 hours you will go back to the lodge with a real Costa Rican experience at the Bajo`s comunity.
