REVENTAZÓN "FLORIDA" RAFTING 1 DAY TOUR

This trip will take you through one of the most important and popular rivers of the country, the Reventazón River. This section, known as “Florida”, is suitable for beginners (low / medium difficulty).

After picking you up in San Jose we will pass through the Braulio Carrillo National Park, driving time is approximately 2 hours full of the most exquisite flora & fauna. This national park communicates de Central Valley with the Atlantic low lands and provides of Carbon Dioxide and Oxygen to habitants all over Costa Rica. It also represents a big part of the country`s wildlife.

As soon as we get out of the Barulio Carrillo we will stop for a typical breakfast; this will give you enough energy for the class II & III rapids.
Our staff will be waiting for you at the river put in, where you receive a safety speech before the 18 rapids Florida section has in 10 miles of rafting tour.

The tour includes buffet lunch at the river, 2 – 2.5 hours of rafting, typical breakfast, river guide, transportation to and from San Jose hotel, rafting equipment and safety kayaker.

At the river take out you can change clothes before heading to San Jose again.

Recommended equipment & clothes: swim suite, shorts, cap, sun block lotion, water shoes or tennis, and a full set of clothes.
